New beginnings along the horizon...

For several months I have been in such a slump that it has taken its toll on me. I have no desire to be creative, to be happy or to be inspired. The only thing that has been keeping me going is watching some videos on You Tube. Mostly about cake decorating. Don't ask me... maybe it was for a change that I needed . The other day I came across this video CLICK HERE She is amazing!!!

I found a group via the above mentioned video called "The Artful Paper Doll". It is so inspiring. If you click on "Paper Follies" there are several groups there to join and participate in. Check them all out. One group in particular pertains to self affirmation. I don't know how long this will take for me. Rome was not built in a day but it's worth it to me. I need to take charge again once more in my life. I need to be creative and share with others again. We all go through this in our lives and I am sure with all the dramatic changes that I have had in the last 2 years that it is taken its toll on me. I miss my family and friends back home and it can be very difficult at times. My job is full time now and my hours are not of the norm of 9-5. But where else can one work and share your knowledge of art!!! I love my job I just need some "me" time.

If you have the time check out "The Artful Paper Dolls"!!!

Rachel The Traveler

This past May my grand daughter Rachel went to DC for her class trip. Her mom sent me some pics that they took and this one is my favorite! They had loads of fun and were completely exhausted when they arrived home. I can't think of a better place for kids to go and absorb so much of our country's history.
