Floral Challenge over at Paper Imagery Designs Yahoo Group
Paper Imagery Designs challenges are great!! For these challenges you need to use a PID image and post your art using the theme given. There is usually a freebie image posted for some to use but you must be a part of the yahoo group to play. SO many people are playing and having a great time displaying their artistic talents.
Here is my Floral Challenge piece. I used Nia from Paper Imagery Designs and painted a 4x5 canvas board with paints, inks, embossing powder and glitter paint. The frame is a die cut that you will be able purchase from PID very soon.

Have to moderate comments
Why do some of these people think they can get away with posting their silly links in the comment section of our blogs? I mean come on folks! So now I have to moderate comments. That is too bad. But whatcha gonna do?
I feel bad doing this but I have more important things to do then have to go back and delete them. As long as we have the internet there will always be those low lives that have nothing better to do then spam an art blog!

I was trying to do a transfer on this background and it messed up. I was going to throw it away. I took a piece of sand paper and smoothed it out and added some inks and voila!

Polka Dot Challenge Paper Imagery Designs
this week's challenge at PID is polka-dots. White polka dots have been added to Isabella's dress with white gel pen. Also I highlighted the rest of her dress with the gel pen.

PID Challenge
We are having a weekly challenge over at Paper Imagery Designs Yahoo Group and the theme this week is "girls". Well that leaves you wide open for just about anything.
Since Sarah is my favorite...no wait Isabella...ummmm...no it's Tessa! Aw gesh I love them all!
I used a transparency of Sarah. The base of the ATC is the embossed ATC blanks that we sell. I used some chalk inks and paints. Glued on pages from an old book and colored them with my NEW TOY!!
I have wanted this application tool for a long time and finally bought one. It is made by Delta and it's a motorized color application tool called "Spin Color". It blends your inks, chalks etc. Oh what fun this is!!! So I used it to blend in my inks around the paper.
I attached a piece of German scrap decoration and some German embossed floral stickers and then blended them with my new tool to tone down the colors.

Bird House Row
I think this is a better pic. Took this one this morning with my old camera. The first one I covered with specialty paper and painted adding rub-ons and Prima flowers.
The middle one I used a napkin to cover the entire bird house and then added my embellishments.
The last was painted and I did not like it and then added more paints and still did not like it. I tried rubbing the paint, gesso and gel medium off and it gave me this rustic worn out look. It was perfect for an old bird house. Added some glass bubbles, flowers and buttons.
I got a little play time this weekend. I made these little bird houses. Just wanting to have some fun. I need a new camera! The glitz and glitter does not show here but they are just to adorable in person if I have to say so myself.

Some times a picture is worth a 1000 words. I think this one falls into that category. This is my 2 year old grand daughter Kennedy after a very busy day.

Rubber Stamp Artist
I used to make cards long long ago and just loved it. Since I have fallen in love with altered arts, collage, mixed media I have gotten away from it.
